ASA YOUTH DEVELOPMENT UNION (AYDU) pays courtesy visit to SUBEB Chair prof. Adaramaja and Alh. Habeebat Yusuf
The leadership of Asa Youth Development Union, has paid courtesy visit to the newly appointed Chairman of the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Prof. Adaramaja Abdulraheem.
Asa Youth Development Union is a strong, uniformed and coalition of all youth’s forums/groups in Asa, which had come together to form a formidable entity, without compromising the general promotion of people in Asa, also AYDU would be tailor towards improving the status of Asa local government area council.
In a bid to make consultations with all stakeholders from Asa local government area council. We therefore, met with able Alhaja Habeebat Yusuf (Civil service commission chair) and Prof. Sheu Raheem Adaramaja. We congratulated the duo for their well – deserved appointments and also, Initialised them of the Union motives/core objectives, mission and vision with which we were overwhelmed by the welcoming personalities of the duo.
In their separate response, Alhaja Habeebat Yusuf, urged us all as youths to remain focus, steadfastness and disciplined in our activities and dealings. She also pledged her total supports for the holistic improvement of the Union.
In his own response, Prof Adaramaja, advised us to consider organizing Tutorial classes to be included in our agenda, which he advised that, it would go along way in raising potentials students from Asa local government, whose capacity will be feel by the global space. Such is an addendum advantage to us as a people, he added.
from the above premises, he however, reaffirm that, development of Asa remains his top priority and he will do necessary things to assist the Union in achieving its stated objectives. He also advised the leadership of the Union to embark on leadership advocacy by pleading with the traditional rulers about the future implications of signing citizenship certificate for non – indigenes.
Later, he urged the leadership of the Union to be focused and determined in all her engagement by maximizing their respective potentials, hence everyone is by nature endowed with one talents or the other.
Conclusively, he urged the Union to shun partisan politics and be people’s oriented in her dealings.
Among members present were Hon. Sulaimon Lekan Gadaff, Comr. Moshood Rufai, Comr. Ajidagba Mutiu, Hajia Mariam, Comr. Wasiu, Comr. Akeem Olomigbono, Comr. Ismail and Comr. Fatai Ariyibi.
