National Youth Game: Kwara Sports commission meets the Management staff of the sports council

The Newly established Kwara Sports Commission on Wednesday held an inaugural meeting with the Management Staff of the Sports Council and for briefing on the upcoming National Youth Games.

The Executive Chairman of the commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji in his remarks commended the management staff of the sports council and use the medium to highlight some of the agendas the commission has set to achieve as the pioneer members.

The Director of Sports, Sport Council in his remarks briefed the commission members the step taken so far and the preparedness of Kwara State Government to host the forthcoming Zonal National Youth Games.

Mallam Bolakale appreciated the sports director for the detailed presentation and also reiterated the commitment of His Excellency Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrahman in ensuring Kwara State regained his lost glory in the national and global sporting map.

He further assured the management staff of the sport council on the willingness of the commission to reawake and develop other games that has been in comatose and to ensure Kwara State take the lead in the sports we currently have active participation.

The meeting was attended by; The Executive Chairman, Kwara Sports Commission, Mallam Adisa Mogaji, the Director-General, Dr. Steve Olarinoye, and other members are; Dele Abubakar (MON), Abdullahi Yunusa Lade, Mr. Bakare Salmon Adebayo, and Mrs. Roseline Amos.

The management staff of the Sports Council are; Sports Director, Secretary, CFA, Head of Coaching, Organizing Secretary, and Head of School Sports.
