KPMO welcomes Senator Adamu-led National Reconciliation committee
– Harps on genuine reconciliation
– Urges party members to allow Sen. Adamu-led committee to succeed_
The Kwara Progressive Media Organization (KPMO) has expressed its excitement over the arrival of Senator Abdullahi Adamu-led National Reconciliation Committee to Kwara state in a bid to reconcile aggrieved APC members in the state.
In a statement released by the Focal Person of KPMO, Usman Lade stated that “the visit of the National Reconciliation Committee to Kwara state is a move in the right direction as it will further unite APC members in the state”.
“We hereby support this genuine move of reconciliation and encourage aggrieved members of the party not only to give room for reconciliation, but to also trust in the Adamu-led committee”, Usman stated.
Speaking further, Usman emphasized that “we are harping on unity because we need each other and we should learn to tolerate one another as there is no alternative to unity and togetherness, so we are urging our loyal party members to allow Sen. Adamu-led committee to succeed.”
The National Reconciliation Committee of the All Progressives Congress is made up of the former Governor of Nasarawa State Senator Abdullahi Adamu; former House of Representatives Speaker Hon. Yakubu Dogara; third Republic governor of Jigawa State Saad Birnin Kudu; former Enugu Governor Sullivan Chime; former Benue Governor and Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs George Akume; former Deputy Governor of Lagos State Oluranti Adebule; Chief of Staff to the Kebbi State Governor Suleiman Argungu; former Deputy Governor of Oyo State Moses Adeyemo Akale; Commissioner for Health in Cross River State Beta Edu.
