General Babatunde Idiagbon Flyover: Tipper junction to be shut between Tuesday and Saturday

This is to announce to members of the public, particularly motorists, that Tipper Garage Junction (Ilorin) will be temporarily closed from 10a.m. on Tuesday 22nd of February 2022 till 10p.m. Saturday 26th February 2022.

This is in continuation of the ongoing construction of the General Tunde Idiagbon Bridge.

The Ministry of Works sincerely apologises for all inconveniences this may cause to the populace.

Traffic and safety personnel will be on ground to guide pedestrians as they move around the site.

Members of the public are urged to avoid outsmarting the flaggers for safety reasons.

The Commissioner for Works and Transport, Engr. Suleiman Rotimi Iliasu, once again appeals to residents and road users to be patient and drive with total concentration to prevent any mishap.
