MM Group Denounce purported Announcement on the political Move of Hon. Mashood Mustapha (MM) on Harmony FM, Idofian

The Apex political support group of the Hon. Mashood Mustapha (MM) has denounced the announcement aired on Harmony FM, Idofian, Kwara State today, Monday the 4th of April at about 12noon, where he reportedly called on his supporters to come to Arca Santa Event Centre next week for a declaration of his political ambition

The announcement which read as quoted “Hon. Mashood Mustapha called on his followers to meet him at Arca Santa, for a declaration of his Governorship ambition”

Reacting to the said announcement, the Director of Operation of MM group, Alhaji Rasak Adio said the announcement did not emanate from the Hon. or any of his political groups.

“We are calling on all Kwarans and MM supporters in particular to ignore the purported announcement aired on Harmony FM, Idofia, on our principal planning to declare for governorship ambition.

“This is to inform all concerned Nigerians and kwarans in particular that the purported announcement did not emanate from us”

MM’s Director of operation, however, noted that it’s fast becoming unprofessional on the part of a Federal Government Radio Station that is expected to uphold ethics of professionalism and neutrality. Recalling how the same Radio station announced the purported disqualification of Hon. MM during APC primary election in 2019, and vow that the Apex team of MM group will take necessary legitimate action on the matter.

Adio, who also noted that it could be part of a political gimmick of those that are envious of MM’s political sagacity and therefore urged MM supporters across the state to ignore all the political rumours about MM purported plans.

He stated that the public will be adequately informed at the appropriate time on our political trajectory.
