N.S.E: Kwara works commissioner bags Excellent and Leadership award

The Kwara state commissioner for works, Engineer Suleiman Iliasu Rotimi has bagged an award tagged: “Distinguished Excellent and Leadership award” by the Nigerian society of Engineers; an annual event, through which it recognizes and celebrates titans of the industry for their exceptional performances.

The commissioner known for his unrelenting efforts in promoting Engineering practices and ethics received the honour at the ‘2022 edition of chairman cocktail and award presentation event in Abuja

The event held at the National Engineering Centre headquarters, central business district had top engineers celebrated for various leadership and mentorship roles across the federation.

Reacting to the award presentation; Engineer Rotimi gave thanks to Almighty God for taking him so this height so far and to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for the leadership privilege to serve the people of kwara state.

He also appreciated his family members, well
Wishers who are readily available to support him in every ramifications.

Suleiman reinstated his commitment to continue promoting standard engineering practices as a public figure and private capacity for sustainable development towards a better society.

Dignitaries present at the event include; chairman of the Nigeria society of Engineers, Maitama branch, Engr, Oladipupo Mabogaje (FNSE), Ali Alimasuya Rabiu, (FNSE), President of Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN, Deans of Engineering from various academia and other stakeholders.

The final phase of the event witnessed the launching of a NSE magazine aimed at providing vast knowledge about sustainable engineering ethics and to motivate young ones about engineering field.
