KWHA confirms member EndSARS panel of Enquiry, Buge as Commissioner

Kwara State House of Assembly has today confirmed the appointment of Miss Musa Nafeesah Buge of Baruten Local Government of Kwara State as Commissioner in the State Executive Council.

Miss Buge was asked to take a bow and leave and later confirmed as commissioner, having contributed immensely to the victory of All Progressives Congress APC in the last general elections.

Speaker Yakubu Salihu Danladi therefore directed Clerk of the House, Alhaji Abdul-kareem Olayiwola Ahmed to forward notice of the confirmation to the Governor.

Nafeesat Buge was a member of Kwara State Judiciary Panel of Enquiring into End SARS protest and member of Niger State House of Assembly Membership Screening, Appeal Committee.

She was also Secretary of Grass Root Engagement and Orientation North Central of Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council as well as, Secretary Kwara North Development Council (KWANDCO).

In another development, Hon. Musa Atoyebi of APC, representing Odo-Ogun Constituency returned for second term and sworn-in.

This followed his triumph at a competent court of law where he was declared winner of this year’s State Assembly election against Otunba Taiwo Afolabi initially declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
