Senator Saliu Mustapha Alubarika Empowerment 1.0: A Day of Transformation in Ilorin.

Ilorin was alive with excitement today as Senator Saliu Mustapha, the distinguished representative of Kwara Central, rolled out the much-anticipated Alubarika Empowerment 1.0. Among the distinguished guests were: The Deputy President of the Senate; Senator Barau Jubril, Minister for Agriculture; Senator Abubakar Kyari, National Secretary of APC; Senator Ajibola Bashiru, Deputy Leader of the Senate; Senator Lola Ashiru, Chief Whip of the Senate; Senator Tahir Monguno, Senator Tokunbo Abiru and Senator Aminu Ilyas Abass amongs others Dignitaries.

Religious Leaders led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin and Baloguns from the Emirates, Artisans group, community Association, and opinion leaders.

Each speaker emphasized the importance of empowerment as a tool for poverty alleviation in the country. One of the most emotional moments of the day was when widows, struggling entrepreneurs, and unemployed youths received life-changing support. From grinding machines, sewing machines, motorcycles, deep freezers, and farming tools to cash grants, the empowerment items were carefully selected to cater to diverse needs across different economic sectors.

Other Items Distributed include Transformers for some community, Toyota Siena Bus, Tractors for farmers, Industrial Rice Milling Equipment, Complete Garri processing Machine, Fish smoking oven, cows, Generators amongs others.

A young entrepreneur who received a startup grant said with tears of joy, “This is the breakthrough I have been praying for. With this capital, I can finally expand my business and employ others. Senator Mustapha is truly a man of the people.”

A widow who benefitted from the initiative also expressed her gratitude: “This support is a blessing. I can now grow my petty trading business and take care of my children. May Allah continue to bless our senator for his generosity.”

Addressing the massive crowd, Senator Mustapha reaffirmed his commitment to empowering the people of Kwara Central. He emphasized that Alubarika Empowerment 1.0 is just the beginning, promising that more initiatives focused on financial inclusion, skills acquisition, and social development will follow.

Also speaking at the Event, The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jubril Says. ” Senator Saliu Mustapha is one of the Senators we are proud of in the Senate. He is very peaceful and Industrious, the people of Kwara Central has done the right thing by electing him. ” He also donated 200 sewing machines to support the Empowerment program.
