He was a statesman of Great Integrity; Senator Mustapha mourns Chief Wole Oke

Senator Saliu Mustapha, the lawmaker representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Chief Wole Oke, a respected leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State and a distinguished Second Republic lawmaker who passed away earlier today, March 23, 2025.

According to the statement signed by His Media Assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, Senator Mustapha described the late Jagunmolu of Shao as a principled and courageous leader whose demise is a great loss to Kwara State and the progressive political family.

“Chief Wole Oke was a statesman of great integrity, known for his forthrightness, wisdom, and commitment to progressive ideals. He was a voice of reason and a respected leader whose absence will be deeply felt,” Senator Mustapha said.

Senator Mustapha extended his condolences to the Ohoro of Shao, the people of Shao community, the bereaved family and the APC leadership in Kwara State, especially the party’s elders council.

He prayed to God to grant the departed soul eternal rest and give the family the strength to bear this painful loss.
