The 3rd Annual Quiz and Debate Competition for Engineering students at Kwara State Polytechnic concluded in grand style, showcasing the intellectual prowess of aspiring engineers. After a rigorous contest within six engineering departments, Israel Adegoke and Sonibare Ramat from the Department of Mechanical Engineering emerged as champions, marking a notable achievement for their department.
The event took place at the Late Alabi Lawal Auditorium, faculty lecturers, students, and distinguished technocrats gathered to witness the fierce competition. The participation of various departments added to the event’s excitement, demonstrating the vibrant academic culture present at Kwara State Polytechnic.
During his address at the event, the esteemed honoree, Engr. Rotimi Iliasu Suleiman—a former Commissioner for Works and Transport in Kwara State—stressed the importance of such competitions in fostering a well-rounded education.
