Senator Saliu Mustapha Honored as Rabitah 2025 Conference Holds in Lagos

The lawmaker representing Kwara Central, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has been honored for his continuous support for the Muslim community during the three-day Rabitah Eko 2025 Conference held in Lagos by the Raabitatul-Aimmati Wal Ulama Fi Bilaadi Yoruba (League of Imams & Alfas in Yoruba Land).

Themed “Adopting Sulaimonic Approach in Dawah (Islamic Propagation),” the gathering brought together Imams, Ulama, Muslim royal fathers, and notable leaders from across Yoruba land, including Sheik Habeebullahi Adam Abdullahi El-Ilory, Mudirul Markaz Islamic Training Center, Agege, Lagos.

The conference provided a platform to discuss strengthening Islamic propagation, fostering unity, and promoting institutional development within the region.

The President-General of the League, Fadilat Shaykh Al-Imam Jamiu Kewulere (Grand Chief Imam of Ekiti State), alongside Fadilat Shaykh Sadhullahi Bambgbola (Grand Chief Imam of Egba Land) and other executives, commended Senator Mustapha for his exemplary leadership, dedication to community welfare, and consistent support for the Muslim community.

Held on November 15, 2025, the event brought together leaders from Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Ondo, and Oyo States, with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Chief Distinguished Guest of Honour.

Other co-distinguished guests of honour included Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, and Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State.
