NEED FOR YOUR EXCELLENCY’S URGENT INTERVENTION IN PARTY AFFAIRS IN IFELODUN LOCAL GOVERNMENT

Without mincing words, your Excellency’s good work so far across Kwara State will not only speak for you, but it will undoubtedly earn you a second term without any problem and unnecessary underhand dealings and manipulation of Party guide lines.

It is therefore important to check the excesses of the party Executives and some selfish individual government officials pokenosing into party matters, wrongly and selfishly handling the arrangement for the party primaries in the state on the pretext of carrying out Your Excellency’s instructions.

A good example is the secret compilation of the list of delegates across the State whereby, some individuals were given free hands to submit delegates’ list without following the laid down guidelines by the party.

For instance, in Ifelodun Local Government, the Party Chairman, Alh Lati Kadri instructed his loyalists in all the wards of the Local Government to submit delegate list without recourse to ward Executives or critical stake holders in these various wards.

A good instance is the case of Igbaja wards 1,2 and 3 which were compiled by one Alh Femi Yusuf the Chairman, House Of Assembly Service Commission, Ora Ward by one Mr Said, Idofian ward by one Dr Zubair, just to name but a few, all on the ground that Your Excellency directed that only those that can be trusted should be picked as delegates and everybody across the Local Government have become agitated and battle ready to ensure the list does not see the light of the day.

As a result of this unwholesome development therefore, another list of delegates is being generated and it is currently being handled by Ifelodun T I C Chairman, Mr Jide Asonibare. For God sake your Excellency, where will all these selfish and ungodly behaviour lead us to in Ifelodun Local Government? Besides, it is no longer a secret that they are assiduously working for the return of Hon A G F Salaudeen whose poor representation and abysmal performance within the past three years in the House Of Assembly stinks to high Heaven.

Denying loyal party members their right of entitlement and participation at this critical period in our party should be a source of concern to your Excellency, We have general Election coming up after the party primaries, at this stage we don’t need any divided house in our dear party, APC

Your Excellency’s urgent and timely intervention is crucial as their actions will be counter productive and may eventually lead to serious problems and to avoid a situation where the party will further be disintegrated God forbid, we urge your Excellency to please wade into the matter urgently and timely too.
