Ekiti state command of the NDLEA said it arrested 54 suspect and secured 7 convictions for drug related offences this year
The state commandant of NDLEA, Anthony Ariyo disclosed this when he received in his office

The founder of the foundation Kayode Adamolekun who was represented by Fatoyinbo Adebayo restated his commitment to play active roles in curbing the menace of drug abuse in Ekiti state.
He also promised to work with the NDLEA in the process of nation building through consistent sensitisation about social vices including drug abuse.
The Kayode Adamolekun foundation also donated a sum of #500,000 to the NDLEA to aid the fight against drug abuse.
In his address, the commandant of NDLEA, Anthony Ariyo applaud the donation by the foundation.
While promising to be committed to the fight against drug abuse, he said the donation by the foundation is unprecedented as it marks the first time the state command of NDLEA will receive such a donation.
