(Opinion) Re: Ajuloopin lacks moral right to seek re-election, By Jamiu Olamilekan Balogun

 

I woke up to read a long diatribe of wild jaundice and sporous allegations against Hon. Ajuloopin, written by Sholyment (Olusola) and I can’t but weep for the future of some of our young men parading themselves as opposition.

The fact that Sholyment did not understand the gravity of his allegation is a sad reality of the level of decadence those posing as opposition suffer in their bid to always cast aspersion at elected officer they see as threat to their futile ambition.

The write up for all intent and purposes is capable of landing Sholyment in jail because there was nowhere the word alleged was used by the writer, he wrote his piece like it was a statement of fact he has at his disposal.

If a legal action is taken against Shollyment, the gullible will be quick to see it as persecution not knowing he gave himself for such without recourse to the right language.

Back to the sporous allegations, raised, Sholyment in his myopic and shallow mind, alleged that Hon. Ajuloopin has not done anything for his Constituents in the past six years. This is nothing but a ruse, even a dunce and a puppet of his pay master who were handpicked by the former lord of the manor could not be said not to have done anything

For clarity purpose, Hon Tunji Olawuyi Ajuloopin has not spent up to six years in office. He was first elected in November 17, and sworn in Dec 5th, 2018 to complete Hon Funke Adedoyin’s tenure following her death, before he was again elected in February 2019 general election. How does this period translate to six years? This Indeed gave Shollyment away as peddler of false information.

Hon. Ajuloopin does not at anytime sees himself as above any common man. A man born in Omu-Aran and lived his entire life amidst the array of his father’s children could not be said to be pompous, what exactly does he stand to gain? A song Ajulo always accessible is a testimony to this, he is an integral part of the current administration who is always with the masses of his constituency.

Hon. Reheem Tunji Olawuyi Ajuloopin is no doubt the best Man that has ever represent our Federal Constituency (Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun, Oke Ero Federal Constituency), his achievement in office speak volume of his readiness to raise the bar of representation in his constituency.

For the record, Hon. Ajuloopin has been able to touch the lives of the ordinary people in his constituency as well as different sectors of the Constituency with projects that have bearing on their lives. In fact, I cannot in all honesty exhaust the description of his inestimable achievements thus far. However, it is imperative to mention some of his projects in his Constituency.

Let’s look at his achievement in the Health Sector. Hon. Ajuloopin has done a great deal in the area of Free Eye Treatment by a team of medical doctors as eye glasses were freely given to about 2000 beneficiaries. In his efforts to make his constituency COVID- 19 free, Rep Ajuloopin deployed his team to the four local governments in the constituency to provide safety measures via community health sensitization, distribution of alcohol hand based sanitiser, face masks among others. The distribution of palliatives to Constituents to cushion the effect of the lockdown occasioned by COVID-19 was a huge step.

Education also received and receiving great attention as Hon. Ajuloopin has so far constructed block of classrooms in the following schools: Ilofa comprehensive school, Isapa community primary school, Oke-Onigbin Comprehensive School, Agbamu Grammar School, Ajase-Ipo Govt day Secondary School, Ikerin-Opin Community secondary school, Comprehensive renovation at Kajola community primary school. Under Ajuloopin Educational Scheme, Scholarships were being given to the students in his Federal Constituency.

On infrastructure, completion of Erinmope/ Ekan Meje road wouldn’t have been possible without Ajuloopin’s relentless efforts. Construction of Agan Oru Road, OmuAran. Construction of Ologoro bridge, Ongoing Construction of Winner-GRA Roads, Ongoing Construction of OmuAran Township Stadium ( one of his kind in the entire kwara South). Provision of motorized boreholes in communities across the four Local Government Area in his Constituency. His quest for service delivery also made the installation of solar-power street lights across his Constituency a reality

Hon. Ajuloopin is investing in the youths of his constituency through his various intervention programmes; one of which is the Ajuloopin Digital Empowerment Programme (ADEP) which has hundreds of Youths as beneficiaries

On Agriculture, apart from facilitating the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) loans for farmers and business-minded individuals, our hardworking leader also enhanced the registration of farmers’ association with the Corporate Affairs Commission. Our super Rep Tunji Olawuyi Ajuloopin has also constructed food processing houses in all the four Local Government Area in his constituency. Distribution of seedlings and farm tools to our farmer in other to boost their farming activities.

Few Months ago, Hon. Ajuloopin did a Mega Empowerment where hundred of his constituents benefited hugely, the beneficiaries cut across every informal sector (i.e Artisans, Traders, Transporters). The Mega Empowerment was just one of many empowerment programmes that have been carried out by Rep. Tunji Olawuyi Ajuloopin. The Mega Empowerment was not the first empowerment of Hon. Ajuloopin has he had done a series of empowerment for his Constituents.

The bill to bring Federal College of Education to our Federal Constituency is at the final stage, the bill to to bring food processing house and College of Midwifery to our Federal Constituency is also being sponsored by Hon. Ajuloopin.

Well, I can not fault Sholyment for being myopia , Sholyment is allergic to physical and developmental projects. The only thing he knows is stomach infrastructure project. All thanks to where he belongs.

Sholyment should come out and tell us the number of classrooms built by the inept representatives that were produced by the regressive dynasty. He should tell us the number of bill sponsored by Ajuloopin’s predecessors.

Clownish Sholyment Said Hon. Ajuloopin is using his Constituency money to fly from Abuja to Lagos, help me tell Sholyment that Hon. Ajuloopin is not a broke Man before he ventured into politics, Young Ajuloopin has been flying internationally as early as 1990s.

We understand the kind of stinking and poor man mentality in Sholyment’s head, My prayer to him is that, he should not transfer it to his children.

Friday’s Flag off really choked them, they already know what await them in 2023 general election. Sholyment’s Poverty glorified party are feeling the heat, they can’t bank on their Bankole to give them victory, reason they’re crying around.
