Sen Saliu Mustapha donates N2M for Isale-oja Mosque construction
The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Saliu Mustapha has donated two million naira for the ongoing construction of Isale-Oja Mosque in Ilorin East local government area of Kwara state.
Presenting the money on Friday by the Special Legislative Aides to the Senator, Barr AbdulKareem and Alh Uthman Jagunma said the gesture was aimed at fulfilling his election campaign promises.
In his remarks, the Imam of Isale-oja Mosque, Imam Saliu Idris appreciated Senator Soliu Mustapha who doubled as Turaki of Ilorin for assisting the community on the construction of the mosque, adding that Prophet Muhammad said, whoever builds a house for Allah, Allah will build for him likewise in paradise.
Speaking On behalf of the Mosque Committee, Alh Abdullahi Babatunde Salaudeen applauded the lawmaker for the gesture and prayed to Allah to continue to protect and guide him during his tenure as representative of the people Kwara central at the National Assembly
