Eid-El-Fitr: Senator Saliu Mustapha Felicitates with Muslims
••• Urges Muslims to imbibe tenets of love, forgiveness after Ramadan
The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District and the Turaki of Ilorin Emirate, Sen. Saliu Mustapha has extended his warmest greetings to Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitri celebration, urging them to continue to imbibe the tenets of love, tolerance and forgiveness which the sacred month of Ramadan exemplifies.
The Senator in a statement issued by his media assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, described the Ramadan season as a unique period for spiritual communion with God. A period of purification, sacrifice and sincere worship.
He enjoined all Muslims whose abstinence during the period of Ramadan in obedience to the commandment of the Almighty Allah to continue on the glorious path after the Ramadan.
“As we commemorate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr, I urge all Muslims to deeply reflect on the teachings of this blessed month. Let us foster virtues that uplift our spiritual well-being and contribute to the betterment of humanity as a whole.”
The Turaki of Ilorin also urged all Nigerians to imbibe the tenets of tolerance and unity, transcending ethnic and religious boundaries. By doing so, we contribute to building a resilient and united Nation.
