Eid-el-fitri: Hon. MM Felicitates with Muslims, Admonish Religious Tolerance
As Muslims celebrate this year’s Eid-el-fitri, All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain in Kwara State, Hon. Mashood Mustapha (MM) has stressed that religious tolerance remain a key factor for peace and unity in the country.
The former member of the Federal House of Representatives expressed this while felicitating with the faithful Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-fitri celebration said Muslim faithful should continue to live in harmony with other religious votary.
MM, also urged Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for the country and its leader stressed that the people directing Nigeria affairs need prayers of faithful citizens more at this critical period in the country, most especially in the area of insecurity that is fast ravaging the country.
The former governorship aspirant, however call on all Muslims to always put into practice lessons learnt during the Ramadan period which is to love and share with the less privileged in the society as exemplified by Prophet Mohammed.
Stressed that “when every citizen upheld and practised the teachings from our holy books, peace and tranquility would reign in the society.”
He, however pray to the Almighty Allah to accept the fasting as an act of Ibadah and spare our lives to witness more of it in life.
