Moro Council of Ulammah Honours Moro LG Chairperson with Prestigious Islamic Title, Zeenatu Deenul Islam of Moro Land
The Moro Local Government Council of Ulammah and Imams has awarded the Executive Chairperson of Moro Local Government and Yèyémeso of Shao Kingdom, Alhaja Chief (Mrs) Mariam Abdulwasiu Omotayo, the revered title of Zeenatu Deenul Islam of Moro Land (Oso Adinni Islam Ile Moro Lapapo) at the Special Prayer and Maolud Nabiyy organized by the Council to commemorate her successful one year in office.
In a statement by his special assistant on Media, Shuaib Wahab Alikinla and obtain by our reporter, He said Presenting the award to the Chairperson, the Chief Imam of Bode-Saadu, alongside other Chief Imams across five districts in Moro, described the title conferred on her as a result of her outstanding commitment to community development, unwavering support for religious institutions, and her exemplary leadership style, which has brought pride to the people of Moro Local Government.
The Chief Imam of Shehu Alimi Central Mosque Jebba, Imam Muhammad Sani Danlami, emphasized that the Chairperson’s service transcends politics, noting that she has consistently championed both the social and spiritual upliftment of Moro Local Government.
In her remarks, Alhaja Chief (Mrs) Mariam Abdulwasiu Omotayo expressed gratitude to the Council of Ulammah and Imams for the honour bestowed on her as Zeenatu Deenul Islam of Moro Land (Oso Adinni Ile Moro Lapapo).
She, however, pledged to redouble her efforts in service delivery, promising that the next phase of her administration would consolidate on the gains recorded in her first year. She reassured them that her administration remains committed to fostering unity, infrastructural development, and empowering youths and women across the wards in Moro Local Government.
