Ilorin west APC Elders organized peace talk meeting, as the party Congress draw nearer

In a bid to ensure unity of purpose among APC party members in Ilorin west, the Elders caucus of the party has organised a peace talk meeting today as the Congress of the party draw nearer.

In His welcome address at the occasion, the chairman of APC Ilorin west Elders, Alhaji Baba Olasasa enjoined all members to rally round His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara state, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in order to continue his good work.

He also call on Honourable members at the state House of Assembly to continue their maximum support and rally round the Governor for him to succeed.

He said ” Those who said they have gone to another party, they will still come back because the party they went to is nothing to write home about “, olosasa added.

Also speaking, the chairman of Ilorin west APC, Hon. Sulaimon Tejidini, urged all members to support the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and they should always pray for him to succeed.

An Elder statesman in Ilorin west, Barrister Kunle sulyman in his keynote address, emphasized the importance of peace within the fold of the party as Congress is fast approaching, adding that it appears there is no love within members of the party, even though everybody claim to be working for the success of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

” What I observed is that most of us want the Governor to succeed but within ourselves there is no love, everybody want to get credit for his own side, that shouldn’t be the way “

” The Governor himself has directed us to ensure that we settle any differences that might exist within those of us that believe in him “

The Kwara state secretary of the party, Alhaji Mustapha Ishowo, enjoined party members to work for the progress of the party and also pray for the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to succeed.

Also speaking, the Honourable member representing Ilorin central constituency at the state House of Assembly, Hon. Mogaji olawoyin, promise the party Elders that they are in total support of the agenda of the meeting, adding that anywhere they are going they will always support them.
