Hon. Mashood Mustapha Congratulates Engr Jani Ibrahim on his Election as FEWACCI President
Kwara-born political leader and astute businessman, Hon. Mashood Mustapha (MM), has congratulated the National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Engr. Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON, on his election as President of the Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FEWACCI).
In a statement he personally signed, which was made available to the press on Tuesday, Hon. MM described Engr. Jani Ibrahim’s emergence as FEWACCI President as a well-deserved recognition of his decades of distinguished service to commerce, industry and economic development.
He noted that the new FEWACCI President, who is also the Chairman of LUBCON Group, has made significant contributions to Nigeria’s industrial and commercial landscape, particularly through his role in the development of the oil sector and the growth of private enterprise.
Hon. MM also commended Engr. Jani’s contributions to the economic development of Kwara State, describing him as one of the state’s notable sons whose entrepreneurial vision and investments have contributed to strengthening its commercial and industrial base.
“Engr. Jani Ibrahim’s election as the President of FEWACCI is not only a personal achievement but also a source of pride to Kwara State and Nigeria. His wealth of experience, integrity and longstanding commitment to the private sector position him well to advance the cause of commerce and industry across West Africa,” Hon. MM stated.
He expressed confidence that Engr. Jani Ibrahim would use his new position to deepen regional economic cooperation, promote intra-African trade and create greater opportunities for businesses across the West African sub-region.
Hon. Mashood Mustapha wished Engr. Ibrahim a successful and impactful tenure, praying that his leadership of FEWACCI would further strengthen the region’s business community and contribute meaningfully to economic growth.
